Ingredients
Burger mix
- 400g turkey mince
- 200g pork mince
- 2g garlic, finely chopped
- 4g root ginger, finely chopped
- 1 red chilli
- 1 handful coriander, finely chopped
- 6 drops tobasco
- 0.5 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 4 spring onions, finely sliced
- salt
- pepper
- sunflower oil
Crumb mix
- 40g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 20g breadcrumbs
Instructions
Into a frying pan, add a small amount of sunflower oil and place over a medium heat. Add the garlic, chilli and ginger. Fry for 1 minute
Into a large bowl, add the fried ginger, garlic and chilli with the remaining ingredients and mix well
Divide the mix into 6 portions and shape with the aid of a pastry cutter; press the mix inside and push down so that its level. Remove the cutter and repeat with all 6 portions
Preheat your oven to 180C/gas mark 4. Crumb the patties using the pan anglaise method. Once evenly crumbed, shallow-fry each pattie until golden brown on both sides then place into the preheated oven for 10 minutes
Remove the patties from the oven and serve on toasted burger buns with your favourite condiments and salad.
